Yep, that's what I was doing yesterday, with the Waze app cutting in with directions when needed. I was avoiding a jam on the A1 listening to iplayer whilst being directed by Waze along lots if single-track lanes. All over Bluetooth

Personally, I prefer just Bluetooth. I use various different apps to deliver audio so wouldn't benefit from closer integration the cable would provide. When the lightning MMI cable comes out I'll give it a whirl.

Too little too late, IMHO. Plenty of better alternatives available on iPhone/Android etc. (Waze, Siri, ...) for zero incremental cost compared to this from Audi.

The swirls and dust can only be the dealers fault, caused by a bad YTS trainee washing it at the PDI. Other damage may be whilst it was in transit but for it to get as far as the customer then the dealer is entirely at fault. They're either incompetent or worse.

Siri does already. He's oft heard to say "There's no need for profanity" when I get annoyed.
