Its a S3 car is standard right now dont really have any plans other than stage two so think will just go for a OME manifold.

So went to fix oil leak from my turbo today and found this :( gutted one more job to add to list of many i need to do.

Finally got around to replacing it old one was well and truly dead sum of the ball bearing had ******** off sum where. I end up buying one from GSF

Thanks i didn't think any where did them lol been googling all day. Normally i would just get a oem one but after replacing my turbo on my drive last year with very little mechanical knowledge i realized how much i love working on cars so now i'm not working and back at college getting my motor...

i found out its £175 for new CV joint or 209.56 for new drive shaft with both CV joint for now just going to get a second hand shaft and when i have the money free mite as well just get a new drive shaft.

Cheers Tuffty i will just leave the shaft in and put up with the clunk of the cv joint better than causing more problems.

one more question if i take the fuse out for the haldex can i drive without rear driveshafts in this will only be for a week or so.

looks like they are different think for now i will have to get a second hand driveshaft just to be going on with.

I found the part numbers on etka look just about the same, all it is a friend has a new front one i can have but is rear one i need to replace.

After reading a lot of build threads don't forget a wad of cash to fix the thing that start to brake with the increase in power.

i sent a msg to Beachbuggy on Facebook and my other half left him one on phone i no he a busy guy so just going to wait to see what he says my plan was to get the rebuild with new CHAR off him look like going to have to save up a bit more.

finally got around to taking my turbo off witch is no easy job to do on drive way and found the hot side was full of cracks my plan was for a rebuild but i dont no what i can do now what what options do i have i guess new turbo. i decided i want to stay away from second hand stuff.
