So what tool did you need? My guess is that you're turning the screws from the "wrong" end, so need something like pliers to grip and turn them... Is that the answer? Many thanks for your help... Jon

Hi, I've just bought a 2007 A4 Avant, and I have the same broken actuator problem! It looks like a real conundrum to get the old part off and a new one on without taking panels off! Can you let me know how you did it in the end as I can't understand how you can unscrew 2 screws when the heads...
