There will be 2 SD card slots on the fascia panel and there will be a unit in the glove box for the Audi Music Interface - both parts of the Connectivity Package .

Little thing that surprised me is that with your phone connected but entertainment off (i.e. screen down), if the phone rings the screen will pop up and then retract again when the call is over. I had assumed that with entertainment off there would also be no phone connectivity.

You don't need the Connectivity Package to play music through Bluetooth - you get that anyway. You do need Connectivity package for Sat Nav prep or if you want to control iPOD throught he car's system

Had a Daytona A1 and now have a Monsoon A3. Both are lovely with Monsoon being slightly lighter and of course it's metallic whereas Daytona is pearlescent. Daytona is only available with S-Line trim - its does sparkle in the sun though.

My A3 Sport came with Pirellis and road noise is less than with the Contis I had on an A1 (both are on 17 wheels) but some road surfaces really make the Pirellis 'rumble.' It's never what you would call intrusive though.

Standard system has no support for video from SD cards or anywhere else. As stated above it may be possible to use the display as a simple monitor using the RGB cable to connect a device with video out to the AMI connector under the armrest.

It's possibly just the mix of driving conditions - I don't do many really short journeys, though I have covered the full spectrum from town through to high speed motorway.

Have tried the 140ps COD engine in a Golf GT and it has much better acceleration than my 122ps A3 which I also find gutless. Fine on motorways and around town but call for acceleration and it takes its time. I've done 2000 miles in my A3, varied driving and overall average is 46mpg - from day one
