Thanks for the replies guys. I thought glow plugs also but didn't think that they would cause an issue while driving. Hopefully get it scanned tonight and find out what's wrong with it.

I think I've got the same problem as you buddy. Struggle to get a smooth pull away in mine, and when trying to pull away gently there seems to be a sort of flat spot (only way I can think to explain it) and the shaking/spluttering you have described. I did put it down to my clutch and flywheel...

Afternoon guys, having a wee issue with the power steering in my 170. Only really notice it when I leave work, where I park on a slight hill, nose facing down the hill. When I turn the wheel lock to lock (as some manoeuvring is required sometimes) it is like the power steering is working...
