Hi there, sold my old s3 and now in another s3 problem is it was mapped a long time ago, there is now 140.000mls on it and it’s beginning to smoke a little, iv disconnected the n75 for now, and no smoke, which suggests the turbo is being pushed a little too much my question is can I fit a mbc...

Has anyone on here fitted a hpfp from a s3 to there k03 based a3’s ?, and if so did it help much, will it fit ?

Ok so today, it got genuine filter and quantum 5/40 il keep ye posted on consumption, has anybody on here deleted the rear pcv and is the one going to intake of turbo ?, sorry for keep on bringing up the pcv, but it made such a difference to my 8L s3 with 160.000mls

Thanks for the reply paddy, do you mean the gfb ? Going to do an oil change and il swap to 5/40 as my car has 120mls on the clock not sure what oil was used before as just purchased the car.

as per title, i used to have a 8l s3 but now went to a golf gti mk5, im posting here as i found this forum very helpful, my golf has excessive oil consumption, in the past with the s3 i fitted a catch can and it halfed the oil comsumption, just wondering has anyome on here blocked off the inlet...

as per title car is building .2bar when car is pulling away, recently got new turbo clutch and manifold, it was doing it before all this got fitted, only change i made since Since this started happening was a AGU head, is this happening due to the larger port head and car need to be mapped...

Didn’t have it machined, as wasn’t aware that it had to be, but yeah tightened them after heat cycle, tried the bolts that xDaNx used

Gave up on the chinafold after 4 sets of bolts and gaskets back OEM now with new turbo

My car used to use a good bit of oil before I did the rings, in between that I fitted a catch can and car was easier on oil might be worth a try, that could possibly be why all the pipes are covered in oil
