I recently discovered the same code on my car ( 5 door) but I'm a bit confused. Is this sensor for the hatch window or for one of the rear passenger doors?

I would like to do the same thing as I've got a new light switch with CH/LH button but I can't find the wiring diagram. The link doesn't work anymore. Can anyone help? The car is a 2006 A3 Sportback.

I'm sure that can be fixed. I'm more interested in how the back of the headlights fits. If the bolt holes align or if it is a complete hack job. Hope not...

I've installed a dimming interior mirror, just like the OP, on my A3, ran the short wire of the loom to Pin1 of the dome lights connector but my mirror still dims when the interior lights are ON or when in reverse.
