hi all I has anyone on here had there door lock micro switches replaced by a garage my drivers side is playing up display saying door open when its not its getting annoying now anyway how much did you pay I have read its a fiddly job hopefully not a stealers job thanks 2002 s3

hi all my 2002 s3 has a knocking/ticking coming from the front when i press the brake it seems to stop.my local garage are looking at it tomorrrow am i right in thinking if they run the car with the front jacked up they will have to pull fuse 31 haldex fuse to stop it trying to engage hopefully...

hi wecome to the forum. one of the symptoms of the haldex not working are the back wheels dragging when doing three point turns or on tight turns have a search there is loads of info on here :thumbsup:

yeah i get this when i am in the t4 most of the other t4 owners know the score i only usaully wave if it looks like a modded one not a builders van lol:icon_thumright:

having owned verious vw' over the years and always doing the flashing waving thing do any of you guys do this when you see another s3 i done this yesterday and the missus was like your embarrassing so is this the done thing with other s3 s :bye:

hi thanks for the reply its sorted now changed the betterys in fob got them from a motor factors run throu the sync process and all working now glad it wasnt a trip to the stealers :icon_thumright:

hi all i have a problem with my key fob about a week ago it didnt work so my girlfriend changed the batterys took a few trys and all was well .i came home yesterday she said its not working again it turns out the car battery was flat. new battery fitted key fob not working opens with key and car...

glad to here you got it sorted i know what you mean money wise. i only had my s3 a month and had to spend 500 on it but its worth it in the end
