My a3 2005 concert is getting replaced for an up to date stereo, can anyone tell me if its just a case of getting an adapter of some sort for the back of the unit and plugging it in or will it be a case of swapping some wires around.

Had another go there, this time with the key out the ignition, the radio came on and i could change the stations, play a cd the i turned the ignition on and the radio went back to safe mode. i also tried leaving the stereo on (with key out ignition) and the radio cut off after about 30 seconds...

Got a slight leak from my gearbox. Had a look thought the inspection hatch on the passenger side wheel arch. Looks like its coming from a plastic cover, but this looks as though it has been sealed. Audi are wantin £52 for this paste. Can anyone recommend any other paste at a better price. Cheers.
