Ok , Thanks alot for the reply. I will try and get it re-calibrated and see if that solves the problem ( hopefully !!) I have tired clearing the codes but they wont clear... I suspect as I am not using VCDS. I am using a Snap-On Diagnostics machine. Will post up with further development. Cheers...

Hey, So the ESP light has come on my A6 3.0tdi Quattro. I have had the car scanned and the message reads - " 00778 Steering Angle Sensor ( G85 ) No or Wrong Adaptation" and - " 18265 Load signal error message from ECU P1857...

Hey ! What scanning software are people using to trouble shoot problems and fault codes etc....?? Is it as simple as downloading software and buying compatible cable to plug into diagnostic port...?? Appreciate your help and Advice, Thanks, Sean.

Hey Guy's, As the title says, does anyone know where the engine temp sensor is located on an Audi A6, C6, 3.0 V6 Tdi, 2005....??? And is it easy to access , does it require any strpping down etc... Thank you.

Could be that Engine mounts are gone - is what I'd usually say but considering its a 2010 that's highly unlikely !! Have a good mechanic look over it for you. If there is a problem the he should spot it. As has been said they idle nice and smoothly with no judder.

I agree ! I was really surprised at the quality of paint and the match. I think it looks Claasss !! And very OEM looking style. I think I have my one on about 3 years now and no problems whatsoever :) Your Le-Mans is Sweet Sduk !!

Thanks for that G. Turns out it was a sticky / worn out Starter motor. It was getting 12V with ignition on and it was getting its 12V to fire up when the key was turned to start. Still wouldn't start so I bridged the permanent 12V to crank the starter motor for a second and got a response...

Unfortunately it's a negative, car failed to start....:( Suppose the next step is to strip back the plastic undercarriage beneath the car, locate the starter and see if she is getting power..... I'll be busy the weekend !

Hey Everyone, A bit of an unusual problem with my 04 C6 3.0 Tdi Quattro for you Audi Experts... The problem is that the car won't even crank over ! I put the key in , wait for the glow plug light to go off and turn the key to nothing , won't even turn over or attempt to start... Anyone ever...
