Well the cables arrived, and whilst I struggled to get my 160GB HDD working in it in the caddie I bought years ago, the 80GB hard drive worked fine. Interestingly the 160 was spinning up without issue, the MMI system just said "No device connected". I have a feeling it might have been a mistake...
