Just got home after a half hour drive and my glow plug warning light has started flashing. The car seems to running ok with no power loss. Have stopped and started it a few times but the light keeps flashing, even with the engine off/ignition on. I had the car serviced by audi back in november...

Wish i knew about this sooner, could have greased it before hand :slapped:

Thanks gazthesparky, I will keep the keys well clear of the ignition when i disconnect it then!! :thumbsup: All i gotta do now is find a cheap glovebox on ebay, dont think ive got the patience to fix the old one cos i ll probably end up launching it!! :keule:

My glovebox hinge broke on my A4 B7 today, i understand this is a common problem with them due to the gas strut seizing? , but does anyone know if they can be repaired or does it mean a complete new glovebox. It has the airbag on/off key in it, which im concerned about unplugging when removing...

Thanks sandra, will look into it, and see if there is any interest of holding a meet locally. Went to a scooby meet with a mate earlier at the goodwood race track, and that was well attended, 22 scoobys in total. Now that would be great if we could get something like this for audis

There 3 audi dealers in my area, eastbourne, canterbury and one at tonbridge. Know the one at tonbridge has held open days before, they have held 2 that i know of!! maybe they could come up with something?

I thought it sounds like it could be a broken spring by the sound it makes? I had the car checked out at the garage today and they said everything was tight and as it should be, which has annoyed me now cos i was hoping theyed find at least something wrong.It sounds ****** awful,and i know...

HELP!!!!! My A4 has got an awful clonking on the front suspension on the nearside. I ve recently had 2 new driveshafts fitted as the originals were shot. it was clonking before i had them done, and continued afterwards. I had the suspension checked whilst it was apart but nothing was found...

Having read these posts im now concerned about my audi. I have an 07 (2007) A4, 2.0tdi 170hp with an engine code BRD. Will this problem affect my engine or just the codes as above? Ive recently spent way to much on new driveshafts and rear springs, and still have front suspension noise issues...

This sounds like a wicked day out!! can anyone just turn up with their audi? Only its a hell of a distance from me :shrug:
