Look at the state of these tyres.

I was unlucky enough to have this fail my MOT. not only that When one went flat I put the space saver on and it exploded after a few miles! Never been used either

Look at the state of these tyres.

just had the same problem myself on my 8P, insides worn down on 3 tyres, one down to the threads, had constant issues with losing pressure and never saw it. what a joke!

Very good point, I did happen to check it on the off chance when I got it and thought it could do with a top up! Don't know why I haven't done this yet ha!

    Got myself an A4 B6

Thanks! I'll get onto those as soon as possible then if they are simple enough to fix. Will report back once resolved. The bracket was actually one of those bolt on ones like the Brodit mounts. It was a square lump of metal that bolted in behind the radio, and the radio didn't sit tight...

A4 2.5 TDI BAU Engine EGR 00560 Fault *Fixed*

I'm posting this as I could not for the life of me find something online relating to this engine, in terms of this EGR problem. So here's how I fixed mine. The symptoms I had were EML and lack of power pulling away from still. At first I tried plugging the vacuum line with a screw after...

    Got myself an A4 B6

Well, this is just an update I suppose, I haven't contributed in ages! I've been a member for some time having previously owned an A3 3.2. Sadly had to change last year, ended up with a Passat CC. Circumstances changed again and now here I am with an A4 B6, to be fair I've always wanted one...

    Parrot and SOT-1103

SOT Leads Audi Get a lead off here like I did. All you do is plug it in and the kit fully works throughout. It entirely replaces the loom that comes with the parrot kit too. I returned my SOT lead for one off this site and there is no hassle at all. Works off the CD changer button on mine.

Hi all, Tried to use search but it's not working at the moment. Had my MOT today which passed, however advisory was the rear coil springs are corroded. The tester advised he could feel they were corroded but could not detect any breaks in the coils. He said about them knocking and I have...

    rear wiper scratching the paint.

It fits perfect I've had it on there for over a year, and the wiper motor itself is from a mk4 golf estate. Works all the same, fittings all the same etc

    rear wiper scratching the paint.

mine used to do this too, i sorted it by replacing the wiper arm with one from a mk5 golf, as i had to replace my motor anyway, it doesnt look like an RSJ sitting on the back windscreen now

    3.2 owners opinions please

Don't listen to the critics! Obviously you don't buy one for fuel economy...but mine does return up 32mpg on the motorway. It's probably cheaper as they are less desirable due to pathetic fuel prices in this country! I found it was cheap to insure. As others will tell you road tax is pretty...

I was considering a rear wiper delete but...

Well I went to a scrappy and found a perfect condition wiper motor in an estate mk4 golf for £25 quid (the guy was aware of the common problem so that was his price) and the wiper arm was of course from the mk5 golf. All fits and works fine and had no problems. Can get a pic up if anyone needs it.

I was considering a rear wiper delete but...

When my wiper motor packed up i replaced the arm with one from a mk5 golf, looks loads better and gives a stubby appearance

Parts needed. My boot caught light!

Can't see any scorch marks, some form of chemical reaction? Or even that strip of wire that may have got very hot and melted its surroundings as it appears localised to that? No old amp/sub cables is there by any chance?
