    I would say that if you upgrade then upgrade all speakers, sub and amps. I have all energy series speakers and sub. I haven't fine tune my setup yet but I would say that sound quality is better then bose system. It is my subjective opinion and I'm not real audio expert.

    Don't know about HSK series speakers but I mounted ESK 130 (Energy series) speakers into my door. Also I made custom brackets for those. Energy series tweeters have quite short wires so mounting crossover was very difficult.
