    A3 Gone

New car on drive MB A35. Much like my old A3 which has been great for the 8 years I owned it. Would have a S3 if it could tow a trailer but it can't, so the only other car that can tow is this.

    Expensive Oil Change

£540 but had all the fluids done. Engine, STronic, Haldex, Diff, Brake fluid. Work done at AMD so all good for another 3 or 4 years. I'm beginning to think this A3 Quattro is the best car I've ever had.

Have I Got a Saggy Bottom?

The A3 looks a bit lower at the rear for some time now. Maybe the springs are becoming compressed over time or both springs have snapped. It’s MOT time this afternoon so I guesse I’ll find out. It’s on Sline suspension with 17” wheels.

    DiagnoseDan

Anyone seen this You tuber. It’s a good insight into finding electrical faults on cars. Many of his videos show different ways of diagnosing faults even with just a an AVO Meter

    So DPF’s do actually work.

This year I changed my air filter and on inspecting it is almost as clean as the new one. In previous years the used air filters had very sooty black stains, now they are clear of the oily black soot. I can only conclude that DPF’s do actually work.
