right my thrust bearing on the clutch has started to make a noise when putting my foot halfway down on the clutch pedal.
what are my options with this,new clutch or can i just get the bearing done without the clutch being changed.
2005 2.0 tdi 140 sportback.
Came to work tonight had me headlights on of course and my spotlights,pulled in to car park switched lights off BUT the spotlights wont go off unless i disconect the battery.
What the hell is going on need help guys please.
Cheers again thats the 170 and there is a 2006,wonder if it will be the same for mine as mine is a 140 and a 2005.
Cant see it been any different so will phone up where i got the map done see if he has the map for it.
right ok cheers ruffrida will have ago on the weekend and will do the egr clean aswell.
dont know if its been done and i am taking bolts off by there anyway.

has anyone done this on the a3 2.0 tdi and is it easy any problems later and what are your thoughts on doing this job.
sounds easy job but not sure on weather to do it or not.
plus my turbo wines and whistle loud dont know if thats normal but it loud and that at low revs.
Un-Sticking Your TDi...
Cant be the battery its brand new,so its one of two things then temp sensor or the starter motor.
But it starts first all the time with no problems so will it be starter motor i would of thought if the motor was on its way out it would affect it on cold start aswell.
my a3 2.0 tdi 2005 54 reg,has a problem starting when it gets warm its fine when cold fires up straight away but when its gets warm it takes a few seconds to start up.
i havent been able to scan it as i dont have vagcom.
just need your help on this please guys and girls.
Had my 2.0 140 tdi mapped a couple of weeks ago by ECOTECHPERFORMANCE in north wales.
well the change is brillant really happy with it and done a good job well happy.
