I have a 97/P 2.8 Quattro. Is it possible to retrofit cruise control to it? I.e. from a breaker or similar? Whats involved, and how much work?

OK fellas, i have a 97 A4 with a Gamma head unit. Looking to put a CDA9831R in and just wondered what else i need. Obviously i need the two infill bits for either side of it, are there different quality ones available? Want ti to look as good as it can tbh. Do i need any form of wiring adaptor...

I believed BMW cars were good quality and i wanted one at some point. Right up until my sister got hers and i realised they were on the same level as Ford, Vauxhall etc, just average cars.

Cheers fellas. Fallmonk; its more the rear side windows that bother me as like you say you can blast the front screen and whacke the demister on the rear one. Oh well, just drop the windows a crack then, lol.

My aircon seems to switch itself off when outside temp gets below a certain level and you can turn it back on until it reaches about 4deg. Is this normal? Whats the idea behind it? Just seems that at a time when you need to demist the car most youre not able to.
