Just wondering if this is normal :-
sounds like I can really hear the turbo spinning/hissing
I was driving the car in 4th gear hard and at about 5500-6000 rpm with wot I can hear like a hissing sound so I let off the throttle then can hear the hissing/spinning sound which sounds like it...
it is just desired boost pressure and actual boost pressure. Just need to get someone to check the log to make sure that i havent got any problems anywhere with the boost pressure.

Have taken out the DV and serviced it and checked it is working as far as i can. Did a log block 115 and as far as i can tell the actual boost pressure and desired boost pressure are all within 200mbar.
Results were at 5760rpm ;- Actual boost pressure was 2190mbar and desired boost pressure was...

Cheers for that, I know this is properly a silly question and there properly is an endless amount of things it could be but what would make the ECU try to dump boost?
