well i got the seat out, sucked out 4-5 litres of water looked about as you said. Ran some water around door frame, nothing then tried the corner of the window...... some water was dripping down the amp wire, the ex owner did. Weird as for 5 months no issules... but here is a pic of his crap...

well i just took the gromit out, and water is out, have looked at the front of car, in that footwell and is damp, but not wet wet. i pulled of the plaster cover under the windscreen where the air filter is and is all bone dry. So i cant see a leak there

so a few weeks ago there was about 2 inchs of water at the back of the p/s seat. I looking around i saw the window frame had dropped a little (3mm) there had been 3 days of rain and as i dont use the car daily, didnt see it. Took it to a garage and they fixed it. Hoovered out 10 littres of water...

update: now the full tank needle has 30 miles on it, the range has moved to 350-380 must be a too full tank thing?

well to be honest, when i looked the other day it did seem low after the new dsi, as i remember if on the motorway and not boosting it would read something like 40 mpg but now seems lower also to add, after the new dsi, the outside temp as well seems a good 10c out. Ie says 35.5c when i know...

how do you mean correctly? , it reads and moves, ie goes from 24mpg to 35 mpg et'c when driving slow and not on boost

hi all, sorry been busy to post, but had my dsi replaced a few weeks ago and when i fill it up, the range used to show 350-400 miles on a full tank. now it shows 250-300, is there something in vag i have to reset? to make sure the reading is right?

emailed, said if i take it back will sort it out, but thats 3 hrs turn around and 120 miles round trip, i may just remove and send to them as now i know is a 2 min job to take dash out.

well had my dash re done, but somehow the clock wont move or when pulling the knob out set? is there a way to reset it via vag? or do i just pull out pin and re put it in?

everything seems ok, the revs went up on the auto and ice icon button put on and then back to normal when off
