I have read newer BMW's are suffering, but as i have explained precious this was never an issue. I didnt expect it to be an issue with Audi, but the dealer explained unless i got ceramic brakes all Audi's do it.......

The stalling seems to have stopped since the 38k service, im sure it has something todo with the DMF and its adjustment. The brakes rusting is really poor show on 7 month old car, and now at 16months they look awful, really awful. Previous BMW's and Merc's have never had this issue...

Hi, just update of progress. Had the Audi A3 for around 7 months and have covered 19,000miles so it was due its first service. Went to the local Audi dealer where I have to say it was a good experience. I noted to the service lady that the brake discs had gone rusty and was not a good standard...

Is it normal to see this amount of corrosion within 3months of a new Audi? I don't think it is the alloy wheel, but actually the Brake disc where it attached to the hub. Any ideas before i have words with Audi...........................

Currently done 4,500(ish) miles since end of March...... so month and bit. I expect to be hitting in region of 30,000pa. I doubt i will do less than 2k per month as an average

I'm just able to break 600miles, max i have seen so far was 649miles from 52litres of refill What car indicates my A3 has a potenital range of 727miles....... I'm doubting this as a real world range and more like artifical environment. I hope around 8k odo the engine should loosen up

Just wondered how everyone is getting on with the MPg from their A3? I monitor with Fuelly, and so far in the month abit of ownership I averaging mid-50's over the last 4k Took this picture after a fill up and a short drive, i doubt i will get 940mile range!
