Same here, ran about 25k miles without any problems what so ever, however only went 1 mile at stage 2+ and it was a different story....
From what i have read it seems complete pot luck as to whether your clutch will be ok or not.
I have to say your car is a huge insipiration, i have followed your thread for some months, it is impressive work. Thanks for the offer it would certaininly be good to have a chat as you seem to have already been there and done most of things that i am considering so it would be good to hear...
Nice one mate, I suspect i will have already bitten the bullet before my next visit to the midlands. Yes brakes were next on the list as i was hoping the clutch was going to last slightly longer. My original choice was the RS 4 brakes however i am now leaning towards a Porsche set up (But again...
Thanks for the response, all signs seem to be pointing to this one above anything else. I can live with some chatter and slightly stiffer pedal if it means that i can actually use all that power which i know is lurking down there...
Cheers for the replies guys, as it happens Big Harty, your thread has been one of the one's i've been watching over the last few months, can you let me know what exact clutch setup you went for in the end as in your thread it doesn't actually say and it does sound like a win win on whatever...
on how soon you will be requiring a new clutch. Went to stage 2+ yesterday courtesy of AmD Essex, unfortunately having only been able to experience the improvement for a short blast along the M11, the inevitable happened, i experienced my 1st bit of clutch slip. Having viewed countless topics on...
I've being looking at these switches for something else although i have never used them before. I think some people on here have purchased the illumated speaker grills though. CarStyle4you Love the heatshield for the itg kit, looks like i know what i'm making this weekend.
Again not always, like i said previously it has been discussed on here it great lengths. Not sure why Audi did this but they definitely released s-lines like this.
Not necessarily, in '05 to early '06 audi released the S-LINES with the sport bumpers for some reason, several people on here have all ready discussed it in great lengths.
Having just put a complete set of the Continental Sport Contact 5's on the car and what a difference they make compared to what was on there before. Whether it be sunny or pouring with rain the grip they offer is superb. Previously had Toyo's on my old cars (brillant tyre with tons of grip...
Thought so, would recognise that building anywhere. On another note I would stick with your existing Speedline's as everyone seems to be jumping on the rotor band wagon (yes they do look good but so do the Speedlines) and the fact they are 19's means that they are slightly different as most...
Hi,
What battery is this, i assume its a secondary one? Do you know what it connects too?
(I would go and have a look but don't fancy pulling my install apart if it can be answered on here).
Thanks
