I have a 2006 A4 3.0tdi avant Auto. Average 32-36mpg normal driving (A roads). Upto 42-45mpg on a long motorway run (80ish mph). Amazed how many mpg some folk are getting... never seen mine above 45mpg EVER!

Oh dear. And here I am at the brink of ordering a Sportback 2.0tdi 170 BE S-tronic with a few extras.. Horrific wait ahead? Or should I get a basic A5?... Ahhh!
