Woke up on Monday morning to find I had been burgled for car keys and both my cars stolen.
Cars were:
SEAT LEON FR 2.0 TFSI Emocion Red with RS4 replica's REG KT07JDU
AUDI A4 AVANT SLINE 2.0 TFSI Mauritius Blue REG KY57HFK
Leon had kid car seats in them.
Like all of you, i love...
Update
The problem seems to have disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared. I guess the cold spell had something to do with it.
In any event, because I had the car booked in, it took it to be checked by Dealer. The technician (who was very helpful) assured me it was a common occurrence...
Gaz - please let me know what the outcome is.... I has the same happen to me (57 2.0T estate s-line) yesterday and this morning... thought it may be to do with the cold but felt very unnerved by it - put in a call to the dealers (still under warranty) and am having it checked out next week...
Guys
My priorities have changed (and no, I dont need to skip the country because of a heist and no, the car is not stolen) and need to sell my A4 Cabrio ASAP. Car is on finance.
Private sale could take lots of time and stealers likely to rip me off .
Any other sensible options?
Thanks
My brother in law has a similar problem on his car. It turned out to be a loose bolt which had a largish washer that caused the rattle.
Worth checking out whether all bolts etc are fully tightened.

most of the time the screws rust and you can't undo them to change the bulb , most stealers stock them at around £6

Thanks - thats exactly what I found - I got replacement lenses today but the old screws wont budge - any ideas/advice on how to get these out?
Got in the car today and got a warning on the DIS that the number plate light was out. Got out and checked and discovered that the lenses on the lights had cracked and broken around the plastic sleeve bit where the retaining screw holds them in. They were practically falling out.

After a lovely few days in South wales with Mrs baldy, just made the journey from Swansea to London on the M4 early part of this morning ......driving conditions were pretty bad - driving rain, very poor visibility (less than 50m-75m - needed fogs on most of the time). There had been a bad...
