Been following this thread for the last couple of days and what happens this evening... 'a spirited run in'
I can add to what others are saying, he couldn't pull away in the AMG. I could hear his exhaust crackling and farting away though! Sounded beastly.
The S3 is fast.. and I'm in a manual! :D
Just crack on and enjoy it mate! I think it may be as I'm in the younger generation but driving a longer route just to warm the engine up seems absolute bonkers to me!
Spend less time worrying and more time with your foot down [emoji16][emoji111]️
Just finished mine bud. I added the Audi Sound System sub with my own amp and wired it up.
Other option is to code in *** and buy the sub and centre speaker, although some cars do not accept the coding (mine), hence me going aftermarket [emoji1360]
Thanks for the reply bud!
Thought that might be the case, is it a relatively obvious/straight forward process?
There's a gent local to me who has kindly offered to help me in the past so will shoot him a message to see if he'd mind saving me once again [emoji1360]
As far as I'm aware as long...
Afternoon all,
I made the mistake of removing my glove box, unplugging the air bag and then turning on the ignition to test some circuits. Now I have the airbag error come up on my dash every time I start the car even though it's been reconnected.
Can this be cleared without coding or will I...
Didn't feel confident connecting it for something that would draw so much power so wasn't too sure, I am connecting the remote to the 12v though :)
I managed to find a way through thanks to rajeevx5 :D there's a rubber grommet behind the battery to the glovebox if anyone wondered...
Hiya folks,
Nice and easy this one... :footy:
How can I get a cable from the engine bay through to the cabin? I've looked everywhere and can't find a way through the firewall...
Need to give my amp some power!
Found this thread...
Thanks for the reply Rob. Tapped into the bottom 20A and can confirm it only comes on with the ignition. Like you've said, tapping into the MMI would be perfect I just can't find a signal that will do something similar.
I actually tapped into the MMI fuse according to the handbook but it was a...
Cheers Dave, that's the one I've read about.
You are right I'm not too concerned with killing the battery listening to it every so often with the ignition on, I'm just thinking that sometimes I might sit on the drive, switch the engine off and listen to the rest of the song for example, and in...
Hiya Dave,
Thanks for the reply. I have read about this on another thread but my concern is that a permanent feed will drain the battery as the amp will be on constantly (the amp is 'powered' constantly but the 'remote wire' tells it when to switch on and off).
I'm almost looking for a...
