Just picked her up from the garage, full service, inc gbox oil, powerflex dog leg mount bushes replaced (red) thermostat replaced, car feels 10x smoother, both through the revs and the notchy gear changes have gone ;)

I think i will need a vagcom diag pretty soon, once ive changed the plugs and coils will see how she runs ;)

Haha i have no issues doing anything mechanical, its just the vehicle has fsh and want to keep it that way tbh,

Thanks dude... Im gonna get a full service inc plugs and having my thermostat done etc, regarding a remap, itbhad one done at superchips, wiltshire in 07 but i dont know if it feels right, not having one to compare to etc..but will get it on vagcom etc as there is hesitation

Hello all.. Owned the car for about 4-5 weeks, loving it 100% at the minute and im sure it will only get better. A few things i have done since owning it, Ive got a boost gauge to fit, service due next week.. Next will be wheels as my tyres are nearly dead so may be time to upgrade

I used a meguiars cleaner, then a polish.. Fortunately work has that stuff lying around ;)

Ha bish bash bosh.... Will start my own thread very soon. Fitted a fmic, got boost gauge and filter to fit... Then next couple of weeks a b5 tip..

This was done by hand with just a microfibre cloth, will use a orbital etc soon

Hello all, whilst carrying out my fmic installatn i found oil to be in both the intercoolers.. What does this mean? Oil passing in the turbo through the seals?

Hello all, currently got my 2000 s3 and in the history from 2007 it was remapped by wiltshire superchips, well i have no idea if this is still the case etc, i want to get it on the rollers and see hows its running etc, i have never driven an s3 before purchasing mine so know no different...
