Earlyer today Audi rang me to see if I was happy with the work done on my Car when it went in for its coil pack recall and to ask if I would like a mini service for £100 I said no because but thought is have a laugh and ask about a haldex oil and filter change first...

Thanks to the wiring diagram tuffty checked them from the sensor down the loom and to the ecu all were ok so I thought I'd take the sensor off and check the probe when I got round the back of the engine I managed to unscrew this with my fingers any ways the probe was covered in...
Sorry to hear this pal and I hope you get here back but I fort cars above 1999 are unable to start with out the transponder chip in the keys do u have both keys ? And have you bought the car recently ?
Just been and checked the plug for the sensor all ok I cleared the code took my car for a drive then checked and it had come back again :(
Anyways is there any way I can check if the sensors ****ed with vagcom (still learning how to use it ) or do I just buy a new one guys
just wondering if it is possable to manually recode the key for my girlfriends 1997 3dr a3 we only have 1 key that stoped working after a battery change i have full vagcom if it is possable to use that thanks matt

dashboard computer is saying 12 mpg
i read somewhere that this sensor has a fuse that you can check is this true if so does anybody have any idea were it is located
