i have a a4 2.4 v6 audi 2002 which has developed a miss fire it happens when the engine is hot,ive replaced spark plugs ,ht leads ,coils .and its still the same .but for a while before i had the engine management light come on a few times saying catalyst below threshold.would the cats cause this...
having these new codes coming up p0420 and p0430 saying catalyst below efficency on bank 1 and bank 2 . but cant see how both could go at the same time any ideas
My audi a4 2.4 v6 2002 has developed a fault it started to misfire and codes coming up are p0300 and p0303 which are random misfire and misfire on cylinder 3 ,iv done series of tests with new plugs checked the coil which are fine ht leads ok .electrical ohm test reading came out ok .ive noticed...
but the water is coming from the bottom of the expansion tank where the overflow is ,but it does not over heat .im not losing alot of water but its shouldnt be happening should it really
when the car gets to tempeture 90 degrees ive heard hissing of water under the bonnet, and found that the water is dripping on to the exhaust .so i replaced the expansion tank and cap but its still doing the same could it be that there air in the system still .i did bleed it a few weeks ago...
cheers done that and bled the air out both hoses to the heater are warm but still cold air blowing out .let the car run to temperture and the expansion bottle water cold to
ok so the hose has a small hole in it just pull the hose back till the air can escape out of it .any idea which one it is as i cant really tell thanks looking at them
i have just changed my cambelt and thermostat on my a4 2.4 v6 convertible but cant bleed the water as its blowing cold air instead of warm air any ideas thanks
it comes up as dealer part only ,they dont even know as its just a part number pretty crafty so yo buy it from the but at £18 pound a litre its very expensive ant they only sell 3 litre tubs
