I've managed to do it right with the previous cars I've had. I'm just looking for advice on what I need to get to enable it. The answers I've had above are a little unclear so I've found out myself that I can achieve what I need with a Gateway BT pro and dipswitch #5 turned on.

OK, I'm a bit lost here, why are we talking about Apple? Anyway... If I can't get track data with an Android phone (still not clear), I may as well just get a Dension BT pro and disable it's phone option.

As far as I know, you can't get the track data from an Android phone anyway can you?
