Im surprised with the mpg im getting with my audi a3, its done 78k but only getting 300 miles from a tank, mainly town driving, but not thrashing it :s i've worked out the mpg to around 27mpg just wanted to know if there all like this?

I've got an aftermarket alpine stereo in my 2004 A3, and ive recently got an ipod cable which i need fitting to it, i just wanted to know how i can get it into the glovebox, first time im fitting one but cant seem to find any hole? will i have to drill one in? thanks in advance

I've connected the 404 but Im not getting any power to the screen? I've connected the blue and white to the blue remote cable from the back of the stereo but nothing happens?
