    It might just need a bit of WD40 like in this video: For a leon but very similar process. I tried this method and solved the problem for nothing.

    Unlock Boot with ignition on

    I'd check the rear wiper hasn't leaked the screenwash and goosed the boot handle switch.

    Try popping a pin in the washer jets to checked they're not become blocked up some how.

    The red spigot ring reducing the size of the centre bore is an indication that they're reps also.

    I'd get your oil pickup pipe checked to see if it's clogged up with sludge. When was the last time you had an oil change?

    Boot Lid Replacement

    The S Line spoiler bolts on to the lip. So you could drill holes in to the lip and bolt the spolier on to fit it the factory way or grind the bolts down and bond it on.

    It's stuck on. There's little pegs that go through the door skin for alignment purposes when refitting.
