So the garage have said that its for a specific engine code, so i assume it would be a batch of engines not all. they said its an ECU software upgrade and its to rectify an issuw after stop start and something to do with cylinders and fuel injector issues. Sorry for my non clear description.
Not necessarily, I had my MY2019 A6 Avant swapped out after over a year BUT I had reported the issue within the 1st month of ownership. So if the issue was reported early the there should be a chance. I got so fed up of reporting not and taking the car back I wrote to Audi UK CEO and thing...
I’d you can get into the app on phone check your licenses to see if they are correct. Mine showed (Demo) for a while until the dealer sorted the license me out then it gave me 3 years.
it’s in All equipment details/Services & Licenses
It drove me insane, as it would have about 5 different alerts, continually stay on and disable matrix and auto levelling. I have a newer build now. The alarms have come on twice both after a driving the car but unlike the old car only two errors came on and they disappeared pretty quickly. A...
That’s normal, I’ve seen that on the C7 saloon and on the C8 Avant. When it gets low enough it will give a warning to fill up and after x miles the engine won’t restart. Amazon is about £12 for 10ltrs.
The standard ambient lighting is white only, you can control its brightness and it works really well. With the advanced pack there are more areas that get lit up, the line across the glovebox for example.
Mine don’t go for ages, the guys in the garage were surprised they stay on. I’ve had some pop up and go within 20-30 seconds that was when driving into blinding sunshine. Audi must have acknowledged there’s some form of fault otherwise they wouldn’t be swapping my car.
Rightly or wrongly another A6 this time a My20 built in September. My I loved the car apart from the alarms and I can’t afford anything of equal size or bigger like a Q7, if I wanted a new build from factory I’d be looking at May time which Audi finance didn’t want to wait for as they were...
That’s good, my software update didn’t fix it either but nobody mentioned a control module, I am collecting a new car on Friday, I complained and they have agreed to take my car back, return my deposit and allow me to get a new one.
When you rejected the cars did Audi take them off you straight away or did they leave it with you until a new car arrived? I may be in this position but with the build slots being week 17 if they take my car now I’d be left with ought wheels for a long time.
