I'm having similar problems. Gearbox oil changes have been done, no metal in the old oil. Car is 3.0 petrol cabrio. 91k FSH. Problems only occur when WARM and between 1200-1800rpm where revs sometimes blip upwards by around 200revs then back again. It's as if car cannot make its mind up what...

What did you mean "have VAG?" Gearbox oil changed at 40,000miles then 49,500 (because we did not know it had been done at 40,000) and 89,500 miles. I would have thought a clutch slipped under hard acceleration. Mine does not. Only problems are when between 1200rpm-1800rpm and gearbox WARM Cheers
