Update for JP's issue, we scanned his car, cleared all faults and then we took it for a spirited drive and then did a second scan. No persistent engine faults logged, so I guess he'll have to see how it drives for the moment, the car drove smoothly with no hesitation at all during our tests...

I don't know the RS6 at all, but is it worth looking in the fuse panel to see if there is a fuse you can pull to disengage drive to the rear wheels? In Haldex based cars such as the MK4 Golf R32, a fuse can be removed thats cuts power to the Haldex controller so it never engages the rear wheels...

On the 8P I believe the oil cooler is part of the assembly the oil filter joins on to. If you look at that photo I posted of the 8P its the "metal block" just to the right of the alternator.

Basically yes, there are different engine codes, they tune to the same power. Standard power: APX - 225 PS BAM - 225 PS I take it you know there are also some 180 BHP MK1 TT models which have a smaller turbo and less tuning potential without some hardware upgrades.

Did you also have a single mass flywheel put in at the same time? Will have a different feel and bite point to the standard dual mass flywheel.
