Hello all, I come in search of advice. Driving down the road, suddenly the car stutters as if a misfire occured, then followed by what sounds like a metallic scraping/grinding coming from underneath. Initially though it must have picked a stone up and lodged it in the calliper somewhere but...

After 5 minutes of driving the s3 this morning, I got a squealing noise from the engine and car stuttered for a a couple of seconds then it went fine. Its running spot on again now? Anybody any idea what might have caused it? Cheers
