Although I work Sundays I'd meet up at some point in the Whitby area. Goathland is nice plus there are some good Moor roads and we don't know what speed cameras are if your that way inclined.
If I wanted an economical car I'd buy a Prius but I'm Audi mad and every time I get in that car I know I made the decision.... right after I visit the Shell garage for some V Power....
Anyway if your ever this way I will meet you all. I will try and get to the VAG meeting mentioned on here too...
If you end up around Whitby I'd join you for awhile and theres a lad in a pub down the road who has a 2007 RS4 but I don't think hes on this forum. I'm working too or I would just travel wherever. Its just a thought or an idea for next time.
My DIS says my average is 17.7mpg so its improved...
Oh yes sorry peeps! I posted on here but it failed after I picked the car up so if your wondering...
No extra charge from garage and some new silicon boost hoses so I am more than happy with how it turned out in the end. You always worry when something goes wrong don't you?
I think he has replaced the MAF sensor and connectors, one of the pins was pushed in and some of the red plastic in the black plugs has snapped. As far as I am concerned its been caused by them unplugging them, fair enough they may be fragile but if they snapped them do I bite the bullet and pay...
Sounds like their fiddling with the connectors broke something. This should never have happened, clearly they should have told me they weren't confident working on an rs6. :-(
I'm considering doing that now as I have never been unhappy with any work on it previously. Its been suggested to check airbox and MAF connections. Garage have just told me the connectors to the air mass meter were brittle so they have broke and will have to wait til tomorrow for replacements.
I think it was air mass meter bank 1 or something then a few faults which he said could be related due to that. The engine management light appeared on after I drove it away from them. Its never been on in my ownership. Could it have been damaged by the service?
Guys,
As per previous thread decided to get major service done with spark plugs etc and brake fluid change done at a local (darlington) so called specialist. Went to pick it up and guy who was parking it up says "have you noticed a problem with it idling?". Of course not it runs fine any...
Hi,
Happy times! Yes its due a service so just wanted to know any ideas of prices and what should be included. According to the receipts and documents I got with it 2 years ago the spark plugs etc were done at 69k February 2009 so not up to the 20k interval yet as I am only doing 5k roughly per...
I didn't want to be the first to go but I had to make a move. Nice to meet you guys and we'll have to do it again when its warmer. I know theres a few more cars I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for!
Hi Everybody,
Like the title says perhaps I am new or not to you as I am a member on various other forums but like to spread my wings. No particular reason as we all have a shared interest and the more people I know can only be a good thing I guess!
My love of Audi started about 2007 when I...
