CEL after installing HFC or TEST PIPE

Thought I would get a CEL but apart the test pipe causing it would it still be ok to drive until it gets remapped or am I causing more problems for myself?

    TEST PIPES

Wondered if anyone has fitted a test pipe and what they thought? I'm stuck between a high flow cat or the test pipe. Apart from saving the planet any other reasons why a test pipe could be better or worse?

High flow cat, do I need it remapped to clear the CEL?

Was told by AMD that it would cost roughly £500 to install the Sports Cat and remap it as it need to be done to clear the CEL, is this true?

    Could I fit 225/40/18 tyres on my A4 18" S-Line alloys?

    Problems? Spec? Performance?

Power wise the special edition is the same 2.0t engine just a harsher ecu map 20 bhp+, which I beleave is now a standard on the B8 models. AMD or Revo do a stage 1 remap would bring it to 270bhp ish (same results as the satandard engine), and with a full exhaust system and intake don't think it...

    A4 Cab CVT

I own a 2.0T S Line with the CVT gearbox, I would say it's a bit of a gamble as there smooth a silk when there running good but if they go wrong like mine (ECU with to pot which seem to be a common problem) it's going to cost an arm and leg to replace. I'd say stick to the manuals if you can...
