i've got a 1.6, my advice would be to get a different engine, mainly as due to the fuel consumption i average 35mpg driving like a normal person. if im late for work it will be a little less than that. should of got a tdi of tfsi!

ive got a 59 plate 1.6 (not fsi) its not a great engine but it gets me from a to b, get 250 miles for £50. in an ideal world i'd have a different engine, but on the whole the cars great and a good price.

hmm so it looks like they may over read then! i had a little search around today and found that minis do it and apparently other cars as well. I manage to get quite good results (for a 1.6) as my jouneys are generally along country roads with no starting and stopping or hard acceleration...

im presumming these marks are swirl marks? as the paint is fairly new its easier to put swirl marks into paint. My advice if its bad enough would be to take the car to a professional detailer and get the whole car machine polished and a couple of layers of wax on it. Wash it yourself using...

I got my A3 about a month ago now and have been monitoring the fuel consumption. I put £50 in at a time and do about 260 miles on it. That works out at about 33 MPG. After each journey i do i look at my average MPG and its generally around 38MPG??? Anyone else have this or explain whats...
