Evening, i get that engines are built to much better tolerances than the old days but what sort of distance is considered "run in" for an S4 these days? I reckon im only doing about 5000 a year so wondering if it will ever get really there? Cheers all

Hi Scotty, Here you go, the label from my S4 door: It's running the Dunlop 255/35 R19. I think you're right though on the PDI, the car was in the showroom for a week before I bought it so guess they had them pumped to prevent flat spots as you say. Really glad I spotted it now though...

Hi all, Just checked my pressures as I hit first thousand miles in my B8 S4 and was surpirised to find the garage had delivered the car with 48+ psi all round. Fitted with 255/35 19 dunlops and i know it says 50 psi max but cany believe thisi s right running pressure. Been thinking the...

Yeah i want to get the video in motion on first then probably a few changes to the DRL behaviour so they dont dim quite so much when indicating. Maybe the lap timer too just for the boy racer in me! Just need to find a man with a cable or a friendly audi mechanic!

Ive got the s-tronic and the manual says the following steps. - press the traction control button once - select sport mode on the gear box - Press brake with left foot and accelerater full down with right foot which should then hold revs at 3000 rpm - release the brake within 5 seconds...

Just picked up my new B8 S4. Found the settings in the manual andwill give it a try once its got a few more miles on the clock to bed in. Ive seen various claims to imprive a half second on 0-60 so woud bring it in around 4.6 ish.... :w00t: Let you know....
