Fitted the badge today. It is the type with 2 clips, doesnt feel like it will fit but if you force it on it goes on fine and wont be coming off in a hurry! Looks pretty good. Will get a pic when i get round to it.

Just been having a look at it, dont think its possible to stop it. Whatever angle i move, touch or poke the rest from, it squeaks. Its just the way all the bits of plastic fit together, its not actually rubbing against anything. Annoying, as its such a good feature and i wouldnt be without it.

Anyone elses center arm rest noisy? Mine squeaks loads when i go over small bumps etc or move my arm slightly to change gear. Its just a general squeak from the whole thing moving within the center console, so not sure there is a lot that can be done, but does anyone have any ideas?

Does it sound like its coming from somewhere on the passenger side, perhaps high up somewhere? I believe i had the same noise when i drove my car for the first time, going over a big bridge in the wind. Only happened as i approached 80mph. Didnt realise the real one wouldnt fit. I thought the two clips pushed on the back of the horizontal slat, and it pushed into them with the gap in the badge going over the vertical slat. How does yours work are there just some nuts on the back to tighten?

is that the badge you used mate? It just looks a little too chrome compared to the OEM one. The one on the grille looks fine though, if its the same one?

160hp although apparently the 1.8 is more like 170 or so when its been on rolling road and remaps to about 210. 0-60 is 7.6 which feels pretty rapid.

Just washed my car and found quite a big hole through the plastic part which the fog lights are in. Looks like a big stone has gone right through it. Im amazed i didnt notice it before, as i've only had the car a week and inspected it all over before i bought it. I've already washed it once...

Nally, had a look at mine and they are definitley not white like yours, although not quite as yellow as i originally thought either. Also my DRL are at the bottom of the headlight unit rather than the top.

dont think so, only had it a week from main dealer so sure they would have replaced them if they were.

mine might be different to yours, they are a dull yellow colour, no hint of white or bright! will keep having a look around.

I have a 58 plate s line, with standard lights and halogen DRL's. I've been doing some reading about changing the DRL to whiter bulbs but cant seem to find a very good answer. Is there a simple replacement that i can just swap over, e.g the right wattage etc? All the suggestions i've seen dont...
