impossible, no one could have removed that except for the Audi mechanics and i dont see any reason why they would do such a thing. it doesnt even look like it was anything on, not a single trace of glue or whatever. my family has owned that car from the start, so i know its history.

my bonnet hasnt got anything on it, just pure metal bonnet. should i consider isolating that?

it might be a somewhat stupid question, but when you sit in the passenger cabin, where does the engine noise mostly come from? is it directly from engine bay through center console into the cabin, or does the noise travel from engine bay through the car bonnet/hood and then through the windows...
