I thought it wasn't really an issue with the forced induction tfsi engine? Plus it will just come back after it's been cleaned anyway?

I have a S3 engine in my A4 avant with front mount intercooler and stage 1. Still running standard exhaust system (noticeably small). There's a lack of aftermarket exhausts out there for the b7 so thought I would try a free mod - removing the pre cat which is straight after the turbine housing...

Nice spec I have a b7 avant Quattro with BHZ engine k04 So we're almost the same :) However I haven't got HPFP yet and still running standard tiny restrictive downpipe. Where u getting it mapped ?

Custom tuning is where it's at mate. Forget the revo hype train

It will be night and day compared to a standard car I think you will struggle to get pinned back to the seat feeling from these engines as the power delivery is very linear compared to older turbo cars where it was nothing...........boooooooosssstttt!

I have a turbo kit for the tfsi engine available if interested. I was planning on fitting it to mine but I need to buy a trailer for my track car instead It's a TD05 20g will flow enough for 400bhp easily

Tfsi + £1000 for k04 and remap You would get that back in savings for tax, insurance and fuel within 2 years ish

What if you get the exhaust guys to do your Quattro, then replicate the downpipe for 5 off. They would sell easily on here , I'd take one asap

£1000 all in jeez Probably about right for a custom 'zorst I'm all about bang for buck, hence why I'm after a decat downpipe only. Full system won't give that much of an increase in power I don't think

It's locked to one car apparantly mate so the few cars idea is out the question. I don't really rate other tuners flash maps, I'm used to standalone management but the only one available is £2.5k for the tfsi engine This seems to be the next best thing but most of the cars using it are over...

Anyone running a Eurodyne maestro on there tfsi engine? I'm thinking of getting one, $800 But you can self tune your car as much as you want. More info needed

That looks about right to what I'm after. I can deal with standard system but that restrictive cat pipe has got to go. Where was best price for the 034 pipe? Do they do the downpipe to go with it or does that have to be milltek?
