My 2008 A3 8P came with only one key. I've obtained the correct type fob second hand, and had a new blade cut that now operates the locks. I've tried various suggestions on forums on how to reprogram the fob to operate the central locking (not the immobiliser) but can't find one that works...

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the wiper stalk, I'm interested in the wiring to the two buttons on the stalk that are used to cycle the centre display between Miles to empty > MPG > etc, etc. I just need to know what pins the wires from these switches go to in the connector. Thanks Rod

My thanks to OxfordRich, he sorted out the instrument problem very quickly and turned on the ambient temperature display as well. Clearly a person with an in-depth knowledge of Vag-Com. For the future I now know to avoid anyone who only uses Vag-Com to fault find, and contact a real enthusiast...

I've got a problem with my Audi A3 Spb TDIe 1.9 R4 (8PA - EHD) - 2008 after a local repair shop changed some of the instrument coding. I've been in touch with Ross-Tech and they suggested contacting someone locally on this forum to do an Auto-Scan of the car so they can see where the problem...
