    Used Dension gateway 100 question

I might have one kicking around in the garage somewhere. Give me a day or so to look for it and I'll upload a photo to see if it's the one you're after. I'm sure it was for the Dension 100.

Fitting a sony head unit in a factory A$

Sorry, I should've made myself clear with my post, I was referring to the switched live cable from the fusebox, not the ignition. I can't remember of the top of my head which feed I tapped into. Use a 12v tester or multimeter to find it, it's not hard to find.

Fitting a sony head unit in a factory A$

Yes you can do it that way, doing it this way means that when you switch off your ignition, after a few seconds your head unit will switch off. Using a relay means the head unit will switch off when you pull your key out, just like your factory head unit. It would sound like option 1 would be...

Fitting a sony head unit in a factory A$

Have you wired in the switched live from the fusebox? I sound like you haven't. One feed is permanent live (goes into the +12v) The other one is switched live, Audi's don't have them so you have to wire that up yourself. Do a search on here as there are numerous posts with numerous people...

    AFTERMARKET RADIO

Nope, that's a permanent live. Take it from the fuse box, use a tester to find a switched live feed and tap into it.

That wire is the ambient LED inside the armrest, it's right at the back inside the storage part of the armrest. Just take a feed from the cigarette lighter if there is no existing wire present.

    Price of rsne fitting

In which case, it's just fitting, possible wiring loom (can't be sure) and coding. Anyone with VAGCOM can do the coding for you. Fitting it is pretty much pulling out your old unit and putting the new one in (subject to wiring harness).

    Price of rsne fitting

Depends on what you already have. If you currently have single DIN, then you will need the double DIN cage, double DIN heater controls (or cut yours down to fit), RNSE, wiring loom and coding. If you don't have any of those, then you need to budget for all of the above, plus fitting. No one...

    My iPhone is wrecked :-(

Unfortunately it's not a manufacturing defect, it's accidental damage. Warranties won't cover that, if you have insurance on it, then put in a claim. If not, just bite the bullet and get it repaired.
