    I'm just wondering if my turbo is still functioning properly. The turbo used to whistle every time i change gears, but now its quiet after servicing exaust- there's no more whistling sound at all, how ever its still performing well no power loss or anything. Is this good/bad?

    The problem has been solved, apparently the fuel pump i had bought was also faulty, so i replaced with a new one. Thank you

    Engine cuts off & on when the temperatures are high

    Ive got a problem with my 1999 A3 1.8T 8L. When ever the temperatures are high(when the sun is hot outside) the car suddenly cuts on the road as if there is no fuel. Ive changed the the fuel pump and filter but i'm still getting the same problem (It doesn't cough and splutter) ... Please help
