Hi all, I'm selling my A4 Avant as I'm going away for a while. The car currently has no mot and needs a couple of things done to get it through, firstly, rear axle bushes are starting to bang(had an advisory last mot) and the exhaust needs sorting out. I fitted a new cat a few months ago but...
Check the rest of the cars he has for sale, they're all overpriced! also noticed he has 0 feedback. He seems to have a lot of cars for someone thats just opened an account, I smell a rat.
Andy.
Thanks for the info lads much appreciated. I guess the retrofit of cruise should be fairly straight forward then, just a new stalk and a bit of wiring. I'll look in to it a bit more now i know the car is dbw.
Cheers, Andy.
As per title really, after reading a couple of threads on retro-fitting cruise control i'm quite inerested in doing the job. I can't find a throttle valve or cables anywhere so I'm guessing it's dbw.
Thanks in advance, Andy.

I've just changed my shocks and had the same promblem, i put a spanner on the bolt head, put the nut back too a full nut on the bolt, I kept the pressure on with the spanner whilst hitting the end of the bolt and it eventually gave, took nearly an hour though.
Edit: had to replace said bolt...
Thanks for that I'll get it scanned in the next couple of weeks, I also managed to get a service manual for my car tonight from a mate so gonna have a look through that. Couldn't find a Haynes manual for my car.
Cheers, Andy.
