Saw a few posts today about APR pulling their stage2 remaps due to emission regulators and fines and potential end to decats
Quite a change for the tuning world if it filters through everyone else

I wonder whats better for 1/4 mile. Top end or mid range
Suppose peak figures are always nice though.
Ive seen a few make 560 now with the octane booster so seems like a nice perk for £20 quid bottle

It was mrc :-(
Downpipe is about 1k of it so a fair price
I had assumed 1 to 2 you wouldnt have same remap type costs or have some form of stage1 benefit, but maybe wrong assumption

Just had a quote and was just under 5k to go from stage 1 to stage 2
Had a quite last year to go to stage2 direct and it was 3.5k. Same big company.
Kinda regretting going stage1 first now as hadnt assumed it was just thrown away money

Interesting. I think i got 485 bhp
Wonder why/if the inlet and turbo hard pipes are really needed or if its just the intercooler that really makes the difference. Could be a grand well spent getting one. I think i need some.power lower down the rev range.
Did you get any more induction noise...
Doc do you mean dont do the decat? As it does add on 1k (parts and labour) and im tempted not to do it on stage 2. Dont want rhr extra exhaust noise
Im stage1 mrc just now but looking at stage2 with the forge intercooler.
Hardpipe for induction kit? That sounds decent price as i would quite...
How much to go from 1 to 2
What figures did your draggy say
Would love to be able to drop to high 20 quarter mile but ive seen a few low 11s

What sort of price you looking at.
I was considering selling or upgrading just now
Nardo saloon 30k miles stage1 remap

Interested to hear hoe you get on as I'm in same boat just now.
Hoping going stage 1 to 2 isn't a waste of money vs jumping straight to stage 2
Dont really want more noise so wasn't really wanting a down pipe but I'm interested in an octane booster map on top of stage 2 for the quarter mile...
Mine has been all good since. And maybe decent power when mapped so dont think they managed to sneak anything in :-)

I could see it on full lock.
This was quite a good pic of mine as you can see the core tread and wear indicators, then how bad it is at edge.

It is a shame. I got 25k out my rears and they still had 4mm across all parts, but again 2nd set of pirellos at front already well worn down at edges.
I jumped to Michelin all round now like a lots of others . Better and cheaper
Still frustrated as per others posts above about having to change...
I dont think it is worth it after comparing both.
You still get pops and bangs on standard , and even more after remap.

People are doing a mix of 235 all round or 245. 245 seems dearer and less popular .
I'm torn just now between the two. 235 feels like the easy option

Are these the right ones ? 155 fitted plus
£580 for 4 fitted
Wasnt sure about bit at bottom that says XL like SUV

Surely 255 all round would give better grip ? What's the reason to drop down to 245 or 235 when moving to Michelin?
I get they look bigger. Ut is more not better if they fit.
The 245 tyre seems harder to get and more expensive for some reason vs 255
