Hi has anyone ever lowered the 2002 S6, the springs supplied to me by spax were way too fat and would not seat on the rubber spring bushes properly yet spax insist they are the right ones has anyone else ever had this problem.

Hi i was recently informed by a tyre fitter that if i fitted 255/40/18 tyres to the rear axle of my S6 quattro whilst running 255/35/18 tyres on the front the circumference difference could have a detrimental affect on the tiptronic gearbox! Is this guy well informed or just talking nonsense...
