Hi all, A few years ago I had a repair completed on my front offside arch and time has led to the wing rusting. I can't leave it as it is, it will eat at me. I want to buy a new wing and have it sprayed but I wondered if anyone had removed their wing? Any hints and things to watch out for...

I have had the ESP fault on and off for the past 6 months. At last my battery has died. It was fine on my journey home from work. Then ten minutes later, I went to go out again and the battery was flat. Annoying.

Just to let you all know in case anyone has the same problem, it was the EGR valve opening and closing continuously when the ignition turned off. There's no reason why it would do it but it's doing no harm so no need to replace just yet!

Happy days! Turns out a wire in the loom need the door had broken which cut off the power to the door, I presume to protect it. Quick solder and everything is back to normal! Happy days!

Thanks for your help guys. I could understand the door lock cam or micro switch if it was just central locking based problems, but the fact that none of the electrics in the door aren't working suggests maybe broker wired like NHN suggests. I will pull out the plug tonight and take a look at...

Right, So am i right in saying that all standard concert stereos (mine is an Audi a3 2007 2.0tdi) have an auxilary input to facilitate an audio cable? Its just a matter of pulling the head unit out and installing? Cheers, Matt

Hi, I have exactly the same problem on A3 2.0tdi Sportback. Ive come round to the fact its the turbo but only gone into Limp Mode twice on the motorway with Cruise Control on. Any suggestions for the best place to take the money guzzling beast in the North West, Bolton/Manchester area?

Well from what i can guess its just the sideways links that have gone, so can only change up or down from neutral... ei 3rd and 4th. New part ordered by garage so hopefully will be sorted tomorrow when they get the part in... Happy Days!
