The avant (purply colour) ,they look like 16"inch speedlines , ihave 18"rs4s on at mo but putting std speedlines back on sprayed gun metal grey .... I think they are a nice looking wheel ..

I suppose the cheaper they are the harder and crashier ( probably not even a word ) it will be , cheers , prob going to go 30 on front ,25 on back on std shocks for now . Just to get front bit lower.probably going to put std 16" speedlines back on to get rid of some harshness , theyre painted...

Hi guys , this might be a silly question but are all lowering springs the same stiffness , ie are 20mm-30mm springs same stiffness as 40mm-50mm , cheers guys...

Thanks 4 that bud , if I get springs now though , how would I know dampers fit springs when I finally get some , are they universal if both springs and dampers are 4 same model ? Wondered if u had any experience or heard anything about lesjofors springs .. the only reason I looked at cheap...

I've seen some shocks and springs sets and coilover and springs sets on eBay 4 about 220 quid , I know they are not going to be bilstein quality but like I say , I'm on a budget. : ( do u think they would be ok , ?

Why's that bud , I have heard they are a lot stiffer , what's the advantage to coilovers over shocks .

Hi guys , have decided to lower my b5 1.9 tdi se and with limited funds decided to go 4 springs on std shocks , read a lot about this being false economy as shocks 13 yrs old and Deffo past there best , my question is I don't know whether to go 4 coilovers with springs or shocks and springs ...

Thought so. : ). Does any way know if I would have to change anything else like bump stops or anything else if just putting springs on , or would I be nest putting cheap set of coilovers and springs on , , also what's the difference between COILOVERS AND SHOCKS. , thanks again guys .

Had same problem, the water was about 2mm of top of ecu , took battery out and rubber gromit was solid with probably 12 years of crud, finally got carpets dry , think its coming in by rear view mirror now , worth checking cause 5 mins taking battery out can save days of drying carpets and...
