Mine was easy to get off but I had a removal tool in my tool box ;)
Would imagine that the bit of plastic that holds the spring has broken so that's why you lost the spring. I doubt you can get it separately either. I would replace the whole arm.
Nah just took a round file to the hole in the new one to widen it out until it fitter better as I couldn't fit the washed nozzle on before due to it not going on far enough
I think hatchbacks need them unless it's the type that are on the body work rather than the glass where you can filler and paint, but when you remove them from the glass you can see the bubble where it should be.
I hate them on coupes though and Japanese cars seem to have them!

Broke my rear wiper arm when cleaning the car last.
Am looking at replacing it with an aero option from another VAG car. any suggestions which ones are the right sort of length from maybe a newer a3, golf, toureg etc?

Yeah I went for Revo because of how close it was but it was okay for first couple of weeks. Had a huge boost basically. Although revved out. But then had a huge flat spot mid range and they wouldn't do anything about it. So I paid to get it removed!! Clive atthowe also seems about as useless as...
Oh cool. Yeah they are great. I've had mine 3 years now and no plans to change it anytime soon. No I left Audi early 2012. Mine was remapped by Revo at first but it was terrible. It's now by my friend who has his own business.
